Carlton cougars ladies rounders team was founded in 2019 as a friendly knock about, social and way to get active.

 

Our training base is CCC and we have joined the league and registered with rounders England.

We have 34 ladies on the team and several new players working there way up, we now have a waiting list for ladies wanting to join us.

We are captained by Leanne Walker and vice is Laura Sampson, we also have a very strong committee that keep everything in check.

​

In the summer months we train at CCC and winter at John Charles, no matter what the weather, rain snow hale wind our ladies show 100% commitment.

The highlight for the team was winning our first ever league game in 2020 against a very strong established side Great Preston gladiators,  our team played amazing and the result showed this !

Hopefully  2021  will see many more league games and friendlies, more wins, lots of training but mostly lots of enjoyment and laughs from a great bunch of ladies who have all become not just team mates but great friends too.
