Passing of Club President Grahame Liles.

It is with deep regret we heard of the passing on Wednesday this

week of our President, Grahame Liles.

Grahame lived just up the road from the Clubhouse in Ouzlewell

Green as a young person and was a keen sportsman all his life

with strong interests in rugby league, racing and of course cricket.

He was our President for seventeen seasons and could be seen

regularly watching matches from the far side of the ground. He

started as a junior player at Carlton all those years ago and for the

senior sides was a good slip fielder and batsman who encouraged

younger players to perform well. He enjoyed the social side of our

sport too so was always up to join a touring party of cricketers.

A great supporter, sponsor and special person he will be missed.

Our condolences and best regards to Margaret and all the Family
