Team coaches will be:
Under 9 - Mark Schofield
Under 11 - Mark Schofield
Under 13 - Malcolm Wallis – Roy Sampson
Under 15 - Paul Stanyard
Under 17 - Keith Sampson
Multi-age girls – Jill Schofield and Andrew Rudge

Winter Coaching

Winter coaching courses commence Thursday 8th January for Under 13’s, Under 11’s and Under 9’s and multi-age girls at Rodillian School. The programme is outlined below:

6.15 –7.15 Under 9’s, Under 11’s and multi-age girls Group coaching working primarily on technique and general skills of the game with time allocated to nets for the more advanced players.
7.15 – 8.30 Under 13 Net sessions and basic skill development

Under 15’s and Under 17’s will practise at Brigshaw School (6.30 – 8.30) on Tuesdays, commencing 13th January.

Please could you cooperate by wearing clean training shoes when you come into the sports hall.

Last season the method of collecting nominal £1 subscriptions after each coaching session had many logistical problems and was not particularly successful. Winter nets/coaching fees will this year be collected in a one off payment of £10, payable to any of the coaches.

Club shirts for 2009

It is hoped to provide club shirts for all our junior players for the start of the season and the junior committee is in the process of looking at ways of raising the necessary finance. It would be a great help if we could find a sponsor of sponsors for the junior section for 2009. If anyone knows of anyone who can assist us or be approached regarding this venture please let me know.

Best wishes

Paul Stanyard
